Players who move from another casino often compare the welcome deal here with what they had before, and the condition that trips them up most is wagering: the playthrough attached to bonus money. It decides whether the extra funds ever turn into money you can take out. Before you opt in, know that the bonus and your own deposit are tied together until that requirement is met.
Activating the Bonus
King Billy Claiming the offer follows a fixed path, and each step has a purpose. Skipping one can leave the bonus inactive or attached to the wrong balance.
- Create an account with accurate personal details. The name and address you enter must match your identity documents, because mismatches surface later at withdrawal.
- Open the promotions area of King Billy Casino and find the welcome offer. Read the short description attached to it before you accept anything.
- Make your first deposit through a method the offer accepts. Some payment options are excluded from bonus eligibility, so the choice matters at this point.
- Enter the bonus code where the claim form asks for it. If no code is requested, the offer is applied automatically once your deposit clears.
- Confirm that the bonus appears as a separate balance from your cash. Two balances mean the bonus is active and tracked on its own.
- Start playing games that count toward the requirement. Slots usually contribute fully, while table games and live dealer titles often add little or nothing.
- Watch the wagering progress indicator in your account. It shows how much remains before the bonus converts, and it is the number to trust over memory.
The steps above are short, but the details behind them carry weight. A deposit made before you opt in rarely counts, so claim first and pay second. Your own funds and the bonus usually sit in separate pots, and stakes are drawn from the bonus pot first. That order means your real money is held back until the playthrough is finished. Games you enjoy may contribute only a fraction of each stake, which stretches the path considerably. The device you use changes nothing here, since mobile play runs in the phone browser. There is no separate download, and the same rules apply whether you play on a laptop or a handset. Keep the confirmation of your claim, because support may ask for it if the balance goes missing. Above all, treat the progress meter as the single source of truth for where you stand.
What the Terms Mean
The table below sets out the main conditions in plain terms and what each one asks you to watch.
| Term | What it means | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | The smallest payment that qualifies for the offer | Whether your planned amount reaches the threshold |
| Wagering requirement | Total stakes you must place before bonus money converts | Whether the figure applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus |
| Game contribution | The share of each stake that counts toward wagering | Which game types count fully and which are excluded |
| Maximum bet | The largest stake allowed while a bonus is active | That your usual stake stays under the cap |
| Expiry | The window in which the playthrough must be completed | How much time you have and whether unused bonus is removed |
The term players misread most is the wagering base. A requirement attached to the bonus alone asks far less play than one attached to deposit plus bonus. The maximum bet rule is the second trap, because a single stake above the cap can void everything already earned. Contribution rates also surprise people who spend their session on table games. Expiry is easy to overlook until the bonus vanishes mid-play. Reading the base, the cap and the contribution together gives you a realistic picture of the effort involved.
Wagering in Numbers
This example is illustrative only and does not reflect the actual conditions of King Billy Casino. It shows how a requirement is calculated so you can repeat the arithmetic with the real figures.
Start with the base. Suppose you deposit fifty and receive fifty in bonus money, with a wagering requirement of forty-five times. The first question is what that multiplier applies to, because the answer changes everything.
If the multiplier applies to the bonus alone, you multiply fifty by forty-five. The result is two thousand two hundred fifty in total stakes before the bonus converts. That is the target you would track in the progress meter.
If the multiplier applies to deposit plus bonus, the base becomes one hundred. Multiply that by forty-five and the target rises to four thousand five hundred. The same headline rule now demands twice the play.
Contribution changes the effort again. Full contribution on slots means every unit staked counts. A game contributing a quarter means only that share of each stake moves the meter, so the same target takes longer to reach.
Divide the target by your typical stake to see the scale. At one per spin, two thousand two hundred fifty units of wagering equals that many spins. At a higher stake the count falls, but the maximum bet cap limits how far you can push it.
Run this sum before you opt in, using the figures attached to the offer. If the resulting play feels unrealistic for your budget, the bonus is not for you. No bonus is worth staking money you cannot afford to lose.
Withdrawing After a Bonus
Withdrawal only opens once the playthrough is complete and the bonus has converted to cash. Until then, the funds are locked, and a request will be refused or cancelled.
When you request a payout, identity checks usually begin. Documents must match the details on the account exactly, so a nickname or a shortened address will stall the process.
Bonus funds left unconverted are normally removed at that point. Complete the requirement first if you want any part of the bonus to travel with your withdrawal.
Any deposit still tied to the bonus can also be affected. Some offers release your own money only after wagering, which is why the order of play matters from the start.
Payment method rules apply to withdrawals as well. The general pattern is a return to the method you used for the deposit, so plan your first payment with the payout in mind.
Keep your balance clean by finishing one bonus before claiming another. Stacked offers confuse the accounting and often void each other, leaving you with nothing to withdraw.
Game Contribution
Not every game moves your wagering forward at the same pace. Each title carries a contribution rate, and that rate decides how much of a stake counts.
Slots generally lead the list with full contribution. A stake on those games counts in its entirety toward the target, making them the practical choice for clearing a bonus.
Table games and live dealer titles often contribute a fraction or nothing at all. A long session there can leave your progress meter exactly where it started.
Read the contribution list before you pick a game, not after. The difference between a full and a partial rate is the difference between finishing and grinding.
Some games are excluded outright while a bonus is active. Playing them can void the offer, so treat the exclusion list as a boundary rather than a suggestion.
Progress is tracked per game type, so mixing titles means mixing rates. If you switch often, expect the meter to move unevenly and plan the session around the full-contribution games.
What Voids a Bonus
Most forfeited bonuses come from a handful of avoidable actions. Knowing them in advance is cheaper than discovering them at withdrawal.
- Staking above the maximum bet cap. Avoid it by setting your stake under the cap and keeping it there for the whole session.
- Playing excluded games with an active bonus. Avoid it by checking the game list before you open a title.
- Claiming more than one offer at a time. Avoid it by finishing one bonus completely before you accept another.
- Opening a second account to claim again. Avoid it by using a single account and never sharing a household with a duplicate.
- Requesting a withdrawal before wagering is complete. Avoid it by waiting until the progress meter clears and the bonus has converted.
- Using payment methods the offer does not accept. Avoid it by confirming eligibility before you deposit.
- Letting the bonus expire. Avoid it by planning your play within the stated window.
Each of these mistakes has the same outcome: the bonus and any winnings from it are removed. The cap on stakes is the one players break without noticing, since a single raised bet is enough. Excluded games catch those who assume every title counts equally. Duplicate accounts are spotted through shared details, and the penalty falls on both. Early withdrawal requests are refused rather than voided, but repeated attempts can be treated as abuse. Playing within the stated limits keeps the offer intact and the payout path open.
