Setting up an account at an online casino is quick, but knowing exactly what to expect at each step saves time and frustration. This guide walks you through the entire process at Leovegas, from preparation to your first withdrawal, with clear calculations and practical advice for new players.

- Check your jurisdiction: ensure online gambling is legal where you live.
- Have your ID ready: valid passport or driver’s license for verification.
- Prepare proof of address: a recent utility bill or bank statement.
- Choose a payment method: card, e-wallet, or bank transfer that you intend to use.
- Set a budget: decide how much you are comfortable spending before you register.
- Read the terms: understand wagering requirements and bonus conditions.
Creating Your Account
- Visit the official Leovegas website via Leovegas online.
- Click the “Sign Up” or “Register” button, usually at the top right.
- Fill in the registration form with your email address, a strong password, and personal details such as name, date of birth, and address.
- Select your preferred currency and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Submit the form; you will receive a confirmation email with a verification link.
- Click the link to activate your account, then log in.
- Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification by uploading your ID and address proof.
- Once verified, make your first deposit and claim any welcome bonus if offered.
Wagering Calculation
Wagering requirements determine how many times you must bet the bonus amount before withdrawing winnings. For example, suppose you receive a 100% match bonus up to $200. If the wagering requirement is 35x the bonus plus deposit, here is the calculation:
- Deposit: $200
- Bonus: $200 (100% match)
- Total to wager: (deposit + bonus) × 35 = ($200 + $200) × 35 = $400 × 35 = $14,000
This means you need to place bets totaling $14,000 before you can withdraw. Bet sizes may count differently; for instance, slots often contribute 100%, while table games may contribute only 10% or 20%. Always check the game contribution percentages.
| Game Type | Contribution to Wagering | Example Bet Impact |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | 100% | A $10 bet counts as $10 toward the requirement |
| Table Games | 10% | A $10 bet counts as $1 toward the requirement |
| Video Poker | 5% | A $10 bet counts as $0.50 toward the requirement |
As you play, track your progress in the casino’s promotions page. To speed up wagering, focus on slots that offer high contribution and reasonable RTP (return to player).
Payment Methods
Leovegas supports various payment methods for deposits and withdrawals. Common options include Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, and bank transfers. Deposits are usually instant, while withdrawals may take from a few hours to several days depending on the method.
Here is an example withdrawal timeline based on typical processing times:
| Method | Processing Time | Fees |
|---|---|---|
| E-wallets (PayPal, Skrill) | Up to 24 hours | Usually free |
| Credit/Debit Cards | 2–5 business days | May incur a small fee |
| Bank Transfer | 3–7 business days | May incur a fee |
Always verify your account before requesting a withdrawal; otherwise, your payout may be delayed. Some methods may have minimum and maximum limits, so check the cashier page for specific amounts.
Safety & Licensing
Leovegas holds a license from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), which ensures strict regulatory oversight. This license requires the casino to follow fair gaming practices, protect player funds, and promote responsible gambling. Additionally, Leovegas uses SSL encryption to secure your personal and financial data.
Important: If you are playing from a jurisdiction outside the EU, such as the US or Asia, ensure that online gambling is legal there. For players in EU countries, note that winnings from MGA-licensed casinos are generally tax-free within the EU, but if you play on a license from Curaçao, local income tax may apply. As a tip, always check your local tax laws regarding gambling winnings.

Insider Advice
Responsible gambling tools are essential for a healthy gaming experience. Leovegas offers deposit limits, session time reminders, and self-exclusion options. For example, you can set a daily deposit limit of $50 to prevent overspending. To do this, navigate to your account settings, choose “Responsible Gambling,” and adjust the sliders. Session limits notify you when you have been playing for a set amount of time, and self-exclusion allows you to block your account for a chosen period. These tools are easy to use and can be modified at any time, though self-exclusion may have a cooling-off period.
